I have a 1999.5 Nissan Pathfinder 2wd that has a slipping transmission, well at 360,000 miles I figure that the engine probably isn't that far behind it. I found a relatively low mile 2000 Xterra 2wd that has been wrecked close to my house. In theory the engine and transmission should be identical to the one in my Pathfinder. Does anyone know what if any modifications I would have to make to the Xterra engine and transmission to make them fit in my Pathfinder? Thanks
