So my gf and I are planning to get a 240sx and were wondering if its possible to convert the rear to the rear of the s15. I've tried searching but it shows old information. Any help guys?? Thanks in advance

It's not a bolt on deal, so you'll need to do a lot of fab work. But with enough time and money, you can make it happen.

possible but trust, you don't want to do it.

Keep in mind the S15 is wider than S14's

I agree, I've thought of doing a s15 front conversion on my '98 but it'd be a bad idea to ruin the front end of a nice kouki.

Buy a zenki and do the conversion with that instead. No offense Zenki people but your cars are a lot more common than a '98 kouki.

I tend to agree with the previous posters. Why chop up a perfectly good s14 just to have a custom rear end. y not just get the real thing imported? All said and done you will probably be around the same cost assuming you were gonna do an s15 front end conversion, paint the car all the same color which is always nice, and do an sr swap. Unless you wanna have all that work put into having the only s15 with a KA in it.

Actually S14's are the widest.

Wow, I thought the S15 was like 1.5" wider than S14 for a while now.

:gapteeth: I guess I just see alot of Widebodied/Flared S15's. And I think the S15 looks wider and lower.

Eh, pretty much see if ones is for sale in Florida. I live in Hampton Roads and there are a couple S15's around the area, not sure how they are registered. Importing your own runs the risk of you going through all the trouble and expense just to get in over here stuck on a dock and the possibility of it getting crushed or sent back out of the country on your dime.

dude dont get into this project.
1. its not worth the time effort and money
2. itll be the gf's daily, i dont know your girl but theres a good chance shes going to crash the car.
3. even s15'd out front and rear, its still an s14...and trust me you are better off spending money on it in different areas than a cosmetic a**-lift for the car.
4.

I hate to break it to you but that is an actual S15. He scrapped the s14 and just bought a real S15
