My QX4 bounces side to side after I hit 65 mph. Feels like is shacking/bouncing in the back, I had the rear shocks replaced, it did stop it a bit but I can still feel it once in a while. What else do I have to check? Maybe the front shocks need to be replace as well or something else. Please advice.

Thanks in advance.

This is a somewhat common problem on R50's built from 96-98

Your rear bushings on the traction bars are probably shot. Check the lower link on the rear suspension by twisting it. If it twists very easily, you need new bushings. You can either buy just new bushings and have a shop press them in, or you can just buy new lower links. (The links are the metal bars attached to the axle and to a large bolt on the frame about 1 foot in front of the rear tire. The parking brake cables run along them.) The lower control links (#9) are 2 of the links that locate the rear axle. There are 5 links: two lower links (attached to the frame immediately in front of the wheel well) and two upper links (#7), and the panhard rod (#4).

The stabilizer links that you supposedly can get from AC are short vertical rods that connect the rear antisway bar to the frame (#13).

you probaly wont be able to tell if you just visably check em out, better off taking them out (not a huge process - only 2 bolts per) and checking the bushings that way...

If you want dealer, you need to buy the whole control arm (often times its t he same price as buying busings and then having them pressed in

But for just bushings http://www.4x4parts.com/public...9f86e You're welcome!
