Hi, my name is Lee and I have been trying to search on a leak that just developed on the front drivers side suspension of my 98Q. I just downloaded the service manual and plan on trying to fix this myself, any help would be very appreciated, specificaly the level of deficulty and cost of the job. The car is just a baby with 48,000 on the clock. I recently added the 18" M45 wheels and really like the OEM look. Thanks, Lee. I'll try to add the images.

I "think" those are the tension links. About 100 bucks for the whole link, or just 40 for the bushing/bearing/whatzit which must be pressed into position. Not sure if you can DIY that part, but you can always just replace the entire link.

ASTERISK!! I am just an owner with no technical training on this car....so my suggestion may be bogus.

Tension rod bushings are silicon filled,and eventually fail {leak},simple to correct with new bushings pressed into rod,or replace entire rod{do both sides of front end}
