Just picked this ride up a couple of weeks ago, 104.000 and in great shape, anyway last week it started to hesitate and stumble at slow acceleration but not to bad and i just thought it might be a filter? anyway it just tossed out this P1110 code about the valve timing control left bank, so i started with a fresh oil change with 10w30 syn, after that the car was even worse than before with the acceleration and a little bucking? i tested the connector for the proper voltage it was good, i pulled out the selenoid and it looked good, i jumped a couple of wires off the battery and the selenoid pulled in and seemed to be fine? so im not sure if its the sensor or what! and will this cause the performance problems? or am i also loosing my fuel pump? i have no humming from it but its the right age. help would be very welcome thanx reid

Customary for unknowing owners to replace all fluids and filters for a baseline. Good idea for a senior Infiniti technician to inspect the car after purchase to highlight unknown defects ignored by not performing initial pre-purchase inspection.

$50K imported luxury sedan is not a good choice for someone not financially equipped to restore and maintain it. Parts prices and labor prices will only increase.

Did non-Infiniti specialist cahnge the oil filter from the top? The fuel filter is trivial to change.
