Hey all, this code 1320 popped up after a tune-up and a couple coils were replaced. It also turns on the TCS and SLIP lights with a code 84 in the TCS.

I then tried all 8 coils, checked the grounds near the dipstick, checked the cam-sensor waveform on the scope, made sure all the coils had a good 12VDC and ground and I checked the resistance of all 8 coil signal wires. Then I checked the condenser on the harness. I actually borrowed another cam sensor just to make sure.

The car runs perfect so it's not like any of the coils are mis-firing. It never skips a beat, just pops up the code and turns the lights on every second start after clearing both the codes in the ECM and TCS.

I'm beginning to think this thing is possessed or something but any ideas would be greatly appreciated,

I'm slowly fixing all the codes on my Y33. New o2 sensors and knock sensors cleared 2 of them. The last code left is P1320. Which scares me. I have heard horror stories that it is almost next to impossible to fix.

Did you replace your spark plugs recently? I've read that not using the specific NGK's will throw a P1320.

Did you resolve the issue of the p1320? I have the same issue with my 99 q45T and been doing some research on how to fix this problem but havent been able to pin point it.

for sure these cars do not like anything but OEM NGK's...if you did any other brand you're going to need to reverse that.

Guy them from Infiniti of Scotsale (IOS) or everythinginfiniti.com. Call them and tell them that your part of NICO and they will give you a great price and the right part. If you have Bosch in there or even some wrong NGK's will mess you up.

I pulled one out about a month ago when I was testing a coil and remember it being an NGK but not sure what model it was. I currently have 3 codes, p0320,p0325 and p1320 and now the car stalls on me... Not sure what to do next.
