the ac works fine but when you just want to use vents from outside it blows hot and not all the time, wondering if its a blend door problem? or maybe thermostat? the car isnt overheating or running cool its right on the nose with that, thanx in advance reid

I think your controller will be similar to the G50 so what happens if you turn the HVAC off and then use the fan speed button only to blow air? Does hot or cool air flow?

I'll probably get flamed but my rule of thumb is if you're trying to cool below the outside temp use the AC (Auto button) and set the temp on the controller below outside temp. If you're trying to warm above the outside temp use heat (economy button) and set the temp on the controller above the outside temp. If you want just fresh air, shut off the controller and use only the fan speed control button.

If you're still getting hot air at the wrong times there may be a problem with the intake door motor, the air mix door motor, or one of the 5 control sensors. It's easy to do the self-diagnosis following the steps outlined in the HA section of your FSM.
