well i picked up a couple of factory sensors off ebay for $50 each and started the job on sat. i started at 10 am and finished at 4! with a couple of breaks, i did the front approach method dropping the altinator and using my 10 year old and my 14 year old to get those clips off and bolts started! just so you know i didnt take the fan or fan shroud off, i was able to get to everything with it on for some reason? the small mettle clips holding the plug boot on the sensor are insane! and i blew allot of time working on those! i broke a piece off the right side clip but it was still good to fit on, i applied some heat resistant rtv to the clips after reinstalling them so they wont wiggle loose. also you have to tape on the back altinator bolt/nut to get it back on! thanx NISSAN!!! im sure they could of used a threaded back side on it!Also make sure you drain about 20oz or so of antifreaze from the bottom of the engine before you start, i didnt and it spilled down on top of the motor right ware i was working making it petty slippery and hard to start screws! anyway its a tough job from the front or the top and my hands are swollen, cut up and painfull! but my Q is pulling hills like new now!!!! saved quite a bundle of cash also. thanx for all the info from the members here, i was dreading this job but it was a good experiance for me to work with my 2 sons who helped dad out allot and i only cursed 2 times!!
