Hey all,

The sunroof on my 1998 Pathfinder seems to have "fallen in" slightly on the rear passenger side. If I look at it from outside, I can see that it's a bit below where it should be flush. The driver side tries to move but gets to a point where it won't raise/move back any further because it's as if the right side has fallen off the rails or something.

I've tried pushing from the inside, but nothing seems to budge it.

Is this a repair I could do myself or something a dealer would have to do? Any idea of the cost involved?

I've never abused it, and I'm the second owner (bought it off lease with 25K miles back in 2002).

Thanks in advance,Alan

if only part of the sunroof works then you need a repair kit. I comes with new rails and clips(everything to fix it). you need to drop the headliner out then remove the sunroof assembly. it is a big bulky piece so dont try doing this on your own. good luck.
