1998 Nissan Maxima Radiator Replacement

I hacked in my radiator but will correct installation tonight.

I left out the bottom round rubber supports for the radiatorreplacement. Be aware that Auto Zone does not provide themwith the radiator they sell. It appears Nissan does provide them(since there is no separate part # provided in the LC section)as shown on page 15.

The only reason I caught the problem was since I was taking offthe scrap parts from the old radiator

The radiator did not have a hole in it but it looked like it was leakingbetween where the metal crimp and the plastic were supposed to seal.At first it was a very slow leak and finally went to a bigger leak.c

Got in the rubber supports for the bottom. It was not hardto do. Also noticed the fan was just touching the radiatorso I used some aluminum foil material and created a shim to allowthe fan free movement.
