Are you not getting any misfire codes? Check your spark plugs to make sure they are firing. At minimum, check that the plugs are snug on the coilpacks.

Also, which part of the exhaust is that hot? Bank 1 manifold, Bank 2 exhaust manifold, after the catalytic converter... or do you mean your muffler is red?

+1 to checking your spark plugs and looking for plugs with excess carbon to indicate that plug is running rich. Another item that can cause a rich running condition is bad fuel pressure regulator that is allowing fuel to be sucked into the vacuum line.
Many 95-99 VQ30DE rich or flooding fuel conditions that I've seen come from leaking injector o-rings and cracked pintle caps. That problem can be easily fixed by installed an injector rebuild kit that contains new o-rings, screens, and pintle caps. Also the injectors scan be sent out for service where they will be refurbished and tested.

I've used the CS Performance kit that I purchased on eBay to refurbish two sets of injectors to date. One set was used to remedy a chronic flooding problem. The other was preventative maintenance.

Are you the type that can take on a medium size engine project?

A good way to determine if the injectors are leaky is to pull the rail with injectors clipped in and turn "ON" the ignition. NOT "START" but just "ON".
What turning the ignition to the "ON" position will do is pressurize the fuel system.
If you then pick up the rail and see tiny drops of fuel leaking from the tips of the injectors they will have to be replaced.
There isnt a fix for that. What i believe happens is the inner valve gets stuck open or something like that.
I'd check the one by the regulator! That one gets the pressure on it and that could be a reason why thats the bad one.
