Can these 2 bushings be replaced by just removing the holding clamps, slight prying on the rack to removing old and install new bushings and proper tightening sequence per manual. Will loosing all clamp bolts but only remove one at a time.

I was planning on putting the car on drive up ramps (with centered steering wheel) to do the replacement.

What size are the bolts and nut?

Any tips would be helpful.

Thanks

I'm not totally sure on your I, but on my Q taking the extra step of disconnecting the u-joint to the steering column gave me a whole lot more wiggle room. The U joint was keyed, so it wasn't necessary to lock the steering wheel in to any particular position.

if the new bushings are split/cut you might be able to get them on
without removing a lot

IIRC when I did mine, getting to the DS one was a pain, but I didn't have to remove the rack to do it. The bushings should be the split type.
