We have a 2001 Q45t in our shop. Customer wanting to fix as cheap as possible. Having trouble finding good used headlamps for it. Will headlamps from a 1998 fit it? I know the 2001 has HID lamps and I believe the 1998 does not.

Thanks for any info.

I was in the exact same situation and was unable to to get the 97 headlights to worl properly in my 99 touring. The physically bolt right in but the wiring is a bit complicated. It would be easy to make the low beams work but I gave up trying to get both low and high to work.

You being a shop you probably can't legally fix the car without high beams. Also if customer is really cheap they probably don't want to pay you to spend the time tring to figure out how to wire them.

Thank you. I will discuss it with them and see what they want to do.
