1998 240sx : climate control problem - no heat and cant change temperature.

98 240sx with sr red top – My climate control is not working. Can’t change vent mod and can’t change temperature. only blowing at def and cold air. 1st I thought it was the climate control unit so I borrow my buddy’s to test it out but it’s doing the same thing. I checked all the fuses. Where else can I check? …. Thanks

and does the 98 have the water c*** out in the fire wall in the engine bay ? cuz most my friends have a s14 but they all 95 and 96 and they have them.

Is this an auto air [push button] or manual air [slide levers]?

push bottom for the vent mod and slide lever for the temperature.

In your fuse box located in the car check the 8th fuse down on the left side of the box. With the key on check for power with a test light or volt meter on both sides of the back of the fuse. You will prope it in the slots where it has the metal tabs on the fuse.

fixed..... i check all the fuses again today.... and found the a/c fuse was poped.... i guess i overlooked last time when i checked.... i only touch one side and not the other .... some reason i was thinking if one side had power then the other should be good.... thanks nistech.
