1998 200sx sr20det wierd problem!?!?!!??!!

i have a 1998 200sx with a sr20det. for some reason the oil shoots out the dip stip. anyone know why, or how to stop it. it only really happens when you get on it

Is it coming out the top where the dip stick tube connects to the block or the top of the dip stick tube where you grab the dip stick?

Bad rings? Do a compression/leak down test and see what you get for numbers.

its coming out the top where you grap the dip dtick to check the oil

i had a similar problem on an eclipse i had turned out to be clogged oil passages. just my 2 cents

bad news... after i put oil back in it and started it up theres a knocking sound and major power loss. and it keeps wanting to die

my sr did something similar. bad pcv valve caused extreme pressures and temps in my bottom end wich in turn gunked up my turbo lines and killed my oil pump. still saving money for a rebuild. Hope your problem is a less complicated one than mine was.

yeah i'm pretty sure i'm gonna have to rebuild mine too.
