Hello,

My 1997 Pathfinder ( 2 wheel v6 ) drives, runs, and shifts fine in warm weather. In cool and cold weather it lacks power and loses torque and the auto transmissions has trouble shifting into high gear. It acts like it cannot warm up.

Any ideas on were to start? Truck is in great shape 125,000 miles Thanks

Hello Burns,

Thanks for the reply,

The fuid looks and smells fine, I don't know when it was last changed we have had the truck for a couple years and don't put many miles on it. Its the Dogmobile, haul around my two pointers in it, has nice cold AC for them!

I think I need to get a diagnostic test, the automatic shifting problem feels like its related to an exceleration problem, that feels like a tempature control issue somewhere.

I was hoping someone else had seen this before, I'm sure changing fluids we be agood idea anyway.
