1997 vh45de ECU run 1997 vh41 Motor without problems?

hey guys would 1 1995-1998 vh45de Ecu rung a 1997 vh41de Motor in a stock standard Nissan Cima. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the US ECU's are different, as the 90-95 VH45 is OBDI and the 96+ motors are OBDII. Maybe a 96 VH45 ECU could run a VH41, but I really dont know...

not sure on the jdm stuff...if they havent changed the harness and ecu then there is no reason it shouldnt.

awespme thankyou I just brought a Impul ECU for a q45 vh45de for about 400 USD delivered to my door. If It doesnt work Itll be up for sale again!

I can think of a lot of reasons why it shouldn't...

MAFInjector SizeIgnition timing differences between a 4.5L motor and a 4.1L motor

It might run, but no guarantees it will run well.

oh well... It didnt fint into my jdm spec cima anyway... plugs are different
