Hey all. My 02 maxima suspension sucks really bad even after installing the so called Tokico HP blues. My girlfriend has a 1997 camry with a really good stock springs and shocks and drives very decent. I was wondering if a 1997 camry will fit on my Maxima? Also, I really dont want to lower my car but I have been told if I am looking for a nice handling ride, I must lower my car. Is this true?

No. The springs are different part numbers and different spring rates. The spring rates will be substantially different if her Camry is a 4 cylinder as the additional weight of the 6 cylinder in your Maxima will be heavier.

Not only will they likely not fit, the results would be very bad even if they did. As MaximA32 mentioned, the Maxima is a heavier car than the Camry and the springs aren't designed for it. On a related note, I've also never driven any Camry that handled better in stock from than my factory-standard A33 Infiniti I30. If you're looking for better handling, the Camry is the LAST place I would recommend looking.

Also you did not mention what tires are currently on your Max. I've found tires can make a significant difference in perceived handling of a vehicle.
