1997 Qx4 door open light always on

Hi! I have a 1997 Qx4 and the door open light is on or flickering on and off, but mostly just on. I do not know if the two are related but I can not lock my car or the alarm goes off at random times. Do you know what would cause this?

Replace/adjust door illumination switch. does door close 100% flush, no then hinge.
