Pretty sure I took my '92 Q to All Import Service, last summer. They did the timing chain guides, very experienced and reasonable.Told me what the book hours were to get the job done, and then told me how much shorter it would take them.

I will check my records at work tomorrow, and get you the contact name.

Post Title: Excellent South CA Infiniti Shop - All Import ServicePosted by: ShortSeason at 10:44 AM 6/18/2009--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just had my '92 Q45 in for work at Jerry Tucker's All Import Service.Execellent shop people to work with. 858-573-1118 BrianThey did the the timing/pump chain guides, service oil and trans.

Infinity of Tustin quoted $4,300 for just the guides. Brian at AIS did every thing for 1/4 the price, labor and parts. Less than he quoted.

Thanks maxnix/Brian for the recomendation.

Have the car towed to Jerry, I have heard good things about him too in San Diego. 1997 Q's have no business at a stealership except for an oil change special.

BTW, if your closer to LA there is a good mechanic that knows the Q well Z-Expert, he's in Venice, CA.
