I thought I posted this, but I can't find my thread in this forum...

My uncle has a 1997 Infiniti Q45 and his brake rotors tend to get warped pretty quickly. He does a lot of stop and go driving, and lives in an extremely hot desert area. I was thinking about upgrading his rotors and pads to something a little beefier. I was thinking about something like Brembo rotors and some higher temp pads... maybe Hawk HPS, but I can't find part #s for them even though I know they're compatible with other Nissan cars. Do you guys know what replacement parts I can use?

Would there be any value in doing other changes short of upgraded calipers? THanks!

The standard Brembo rotors are a good choice, but unplated like OEM.

I prefer the plated and drilled Stillen Brembo rotors that Joe has on special occasionally.

OEM pads should be fine unless he drives a lot at triple digit speeds or makes rapid descents in the mountains. Switch to DOT4.
