Is it safe to use blue coolant in this vehicle? I've always used the green coolant, however, I have two bottles of blue in my garage and was wondering if it can be used when changing my coolant. Peak blue coolant says 2009 and up for Nissan and Inifiniti.

Asian blue (HOAT) and asian green (IAT) are completely miscible. It's entirely safe to mix them or to switch from one to the other. The major performance differences are that HOAT has longer life and is more resistant to pump cavitation.

Thank you. Also, for the automatic transmission fluid, I was going to buy valvoline multi-import full synthetic fluid. It says on the bottle it is compatible with Nissan matic D and matic k. However, I am being told at the store it cannot work on my vehicle and only the valvoline max life atf will work. Here is a link to the product: https://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/val ... 10422333-P

Matic D is just a house-branded Dexron III. The guy at the store is hosing you.
