Hi,
I was thinking of buying a 1997 Nissan Sentra GXE (97K mileage) from a person. I tested the car a couple of days ago without any problem. However, recently when I wanted to get the car from him, the car just wouldn't start. The engine cranked but just would not start. The front part of the car was covered with a layer of snow and also a layer of ice. Because of the ice, we could not even open the lid to look at the engine. At the same time, there was not much gas left in the car. We left. He gave me a call back saying that after he added some gas, the car started without any problem. Do you think the lack of gas could be the culprit? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
