1997 Nissan Maxima anit theft problems

My maxima for some reason will activate the anti theft for no reason almost once every day. Have to get out of the car, lock it then unlock it and it will start. You can just turn it off and go in the house for a minute and when you come back out it will go into anti theft mode. Can anyone tell me why it is doing this for no reason and how to fix it?
