1997 nissan cima CD Stacker Pinouts

hey guys my cd stacker crapped out and i am trying to find a pinout diagram for the cd stacker itself (nissan square plug) so that I can wire in a newer cd stacker. Please someone help me thanks,

If you are speaking about the CD-ROM multiple player form the trunk, have you investigated the FSM wiring diagrams?

You probably want to keep the proprietary control unit on the player's exterior.

hey what is the propriatry control?? Sorry - New Zealand lingo is a little different - I have tried searching Nz terms for this but couldbnt figure out what the american terms were... Yeah the cd changer in the "trunk" ( I would say Boot ) , It stopped working on me weirdly....

Look at where the harness plugs into the control box on the exterior of the CD-ROM player unit. I am assuming it is there like on the G50 Sony units. This basically translates the proprietary commands from the Clarion head unit into standard signals that the Sony player unit can recognize. I don't know, but I presume the FY33 palyer unit is the same.

My Alpine (?) unit quit working for about a month or two then started working again spontaneously before I could address it.

my headunit is the standard Nissan Xanavi Touch screen - The cd stacker is also a standard Clarion cd stacker produced for nissan - It looks like every other clarion unit except for the plug isnt a round bus plug but eather a rectangle nissan plug!

So is the Sony plug, but like I said, it goes into an outbaord control box on the unit.

But the Sony is obsolete and was never offered on the FY33.
