Help!! My brake lights will not go off on my Altima even when the key is not in. I have check fuses and replaced the stoplight switch. I checked the bulbs in the rear they all seem to work although one light burns a lttle brighter then the others. Can you help? Thanks

Have you checked the two little rubber stoppers on the brake pedal that pushes the brake and cruise switche in to turn the brake lites off when the brakes are not being used.Sometimes these little stoppers/grommets dry rot and fall out?? Also on the tailamp assy's where the bulb go in there are ground wires next to the sockets look to see if these grounds are loose or melted if loose take a phillips head screw driver and tighten them up. If they are to loose and won't tighten replace your tailamp socket assemblies.
