1997 Nissan 4x4 ka24e engine trouble code

I have a 1320 "ignition signal" trouble code on my 1997 nissan Xe 4x4 pickup ka24e engine. 102,000 miles. Just replaced the distributor cap and rotor and front oxygen sensor. Dies at intersections when warmed up (after a 25mile drive). wants to die when put in reverse (manual transmission). From crusing speed slowing down it starts to cut out.

Check and double-check all electrical wires, connections and vacuum lines. There is a ground strap from the exhaust side of the head to the firewall, make sure it is in good shape and that the contacts are clean.

check the spark with a spark tester while its running crappy.
