1997 Maxima Power Steering Belt tensioner

In the process of changing my power steering pump, the long bolt that tensions the power steering belt, broke. Are there any tricks to get the belt tight without it??? The bolts that attach the tensioner bracket are impossible to get to, and are there any specs on the size of that long bolt that runs through the tensioner?
