1997 Maxima How to remove Factory Radio

Happy holidays all-I would like to remove the factory radio in my 97 Max-i heard its so easy--Can any give me a diagram or some sort of info on how this is done.. Does the entire heat and AC controls and all pop out or just the radio> Thanks so mcuh!! Mark NY

That's where I got the instructions (and fantastic pictures) for my 95 Maxima. Worked like a charm. It took about an hour to replace my worn out bose HU (with a used one I located for $60) because I went very carefully. After doing it once, it's more likely a 1/2 hour job.
