1997 Maxima GLE/GXE just bought...want to give it premium first care

Hi guys. I live in Worcester, MA. I pick up my 1997 Maxima on Monday. The car is in very good condition. What I want to do when I get this is give it a complete tune up and even a little extra more.

What do you guys recommend me doing? Should I take it to a Nissan dealer? Or find a mechanic here in Worcester? What are some things I should ask them to check? I want a full tune up and then some. Just to be very thorough with the care needed/want. I mean when I say premium, I would like to spend in the area (total) of around 1.2k in the first month of me owning it. I just want this thing to hum. I do not mind paying a little extra as long as I have piece of mind when I am driving.

What do you guys rec I do? And how would I go about finding a good mechanic here in Worcester?

if you have a service history great - sounds like u dont -

if you dont know the service history on the car i would do a 60k mile service on the veh - changing fluids/plugs/etc.
