All right--I did all the mandatory searching I could but STILL can't find the OEM part number for the transmission harness for my 1997 Nissan P/U. Couldn't even get the dealers in town to figure it out for me. It has the 5 speed M/T FS5W71C and the harness connects the speedo, crank angle sensor, safety switch and starter. TY

If this is some absurd request please clue me in----I had no idea this harness would be so difficult of identify, much less locate.

Yes --I gave them the VIN and the transmission number but they STILL said they needed a part number before they would order it. They could not tell even by looking at the FSM which harness was the correct one. I had the option of prepaying and hoping it was the right one because they would not refund my money if it was wrong. Go figure.

pretty sure it is: 24077-D21U005 (2wd, m/t)

took me a long time to find that too. just a heads up though, nissan only sells that harness in the complete harness that includes the alternator wires, etc. it comes out to $227

Thanks for confirming the number I came up with---I may end up seeing if I can get someone to make me one if I can't find a good used one.Again---thanks for your response !
