1997 J30 Idle Control Valve (IACV)

Could someone please tell me exactly where the engine idle control valve is located on a 1997 J30? Is it easy to take off of the engine?

It is on the intake manifold on the back side by the firewall on the driver's side.

If you didn't know already and if you're trying to replace it, you can find these on ebay pretty regularly.
