Had a check engine light on due to the vehicle speed sensor. I installed the new vehicle speed sensor purchased from Scottsdale Infiniti via the Dealer Direct Parts website. The check engine light goes out immediately and was fine for a few days of regular driving. Suddenly it lights up again, so I take it to Advance Autoparts for the code reading. Once again it's the vehicle speed sensor. Any ideas? Thanks.

Sounds like some shady wiring. That code will come up, even if there is only a fault for a little bit. The most likely place is actually at the plug itself.

Thanks float for responding. You could be right. Yesterday after driving it for a while, on the next startup, the light goes out and hasn't come back on....yet. I've done nothing, so it will most likely pop back on at some point. This was the initial symptom from the old sensor, the intermittent check engine light, before the check engine just simply stayed illuminated.

Unfortunately, to find the problem, you'll probably have to either wait until the issue is constant so you can find the faulty wiring, or you'll have to run new wiring from the sensor to the ECU.
