1997 ALTIMA STALLS97

MY 1997 ALTIMA CUTS OUT AND THEN STALLS WHEN I COME TO A STOP. THIS HAPPENS WHEN ITS RUNNING RICH. IT WILL USUALLY START UP AFTER 1 OR 2 STARTS. I HAVE CHANGED PLUGS AND ADDED FUEL INJECTOR CLEANER, WHICH SEEMS TO HELP FOR AWHILE. SHOP COULD NOT DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. ANY COMMENTS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

Have you looked into other problems, like PCV sensors, Camshaft sensors...etc?

I was having the same problem with my 95; it turned out to be a dirty MAF sensor. But it was having issues under normal driving conditions too, it's worth a shot.

what is the maintenance history, at least for the last 3 years?

what does the 'shop' tell you the aac duty cycle is at hot idle in drive?
