1997 Altima "CODES"

1997 Altima "CODES" hi all,I have a 1997 Altima with the check engine light.There are 2 codes1-300---engine misfire 2--171---engine too lean.What is the fix for these 2 codes. I don't want to reset the ecu until i fix the problem. I think it is bad plugs or timing resetand O2 sensor. Any help.. ThanksDagovna

any secondary ignition problems can set this kind of code. bad plug wires, plugs, distributor, distributor rotor. but it sounds more like you're getting a lean misfire which could be caused by vacuum leaks.
