1997 240sx se ka24de fuel sytem problem I think

After work today I drive my gar home just fine but i notice there is a funny smell coming from the engine then i go home and take a shower and get in my car to go buy a pair of work boots and i crank it , it idles for a second then boom dead. i believe im not getting any fuel. can some one elaborate for me

Check fuel pressure first. I could be most likely be fuel pump or even fuel filter being clogged. It could be alot of other things too.

to test for fuel prob have someone spray carb cleaner in the motor(vac line or something) and see if you can start it while they spray.
