I 5 speed swapped my 240sx and just got it back on the ground driveable yesterday. It starts and runs like normal. The car is driveable but first couple miles on very gentle driving the clutch would slip very bad at anything after like 2500rpm. After a bit of driving this went away and the clutch seems to be holding but it is noisy at around 3500 and above or under any kind of load almost more vibration noise. It does this if engine braking at all and also just under acceleration or just above 3kish rmps. I did search on this and can't seem to find anything that fits my symptoms. I did put in a used clutch but it had lots of life and it was an act stage 2 and matching pressure plate from same car. i used an s13 clutch pedal so I had to space out the pedal from floor is it possible I just don't have my master cylinder adjusted correctly? It was a real PITA to get the clevis through the pedal as I forgot to attach that piece before tightening down the master cyl to the pedal. Any help would be great as this is my current daily and I need to know if it is ok to drive.
I will also post this in 240sx tech as I would like to see some member opinions as well.
