Hi I just bought a 1997 nissan 200sx and i have to replace the front crankshaft seal. I never done this before and judging by the amount of space i have it looks like a pain. Any advice on the best way to go about replacing it would be great. Thanks.

If you are sure it is front crank, always check if oil leak is not coming from higher position on motor. If front crank seal, drain coolant and can reuse if nice and green. remove top radiator hose, radiator shroud, then radiator. Loosen fan bolts to water pump pulley, then remove belts. 27mm crank bolt, remove, then carefully prie off fron pulley with two prie bars, one on either side of pulley. Wedge them inbetween pully and front cover and wiggle them forcing pulley off, gently. if stuck good will need to use a puller.
