I'm wondering if any of you have a pin layout that specifies all the purposes of all of the pins on the 1996 VG30DETT 300zx z32 ECU. Please don't give me a pinlayout that is specified for the 1992-1996, the 1996 has a pinlayout unique to itself. Thanks for any help.

All right dude, You've got 11 posts, of which 5 are starting new threads all asking the EXACT same question. The ECU pinout for the 96 300ZX is in the 96 FSM. It's been said again and again.

That being said, I know our "96 FSM" Is actually a 95 FSM. If you can wait a couple days, we're going to be updating our FSM's, which we pay a subscription to just to provide as a free service. If you're expecting us to just give you a handout, then you're looking in the wrong place. Most other forums would have banned you for spamming at this point, after giving you the exact same answers, BTW.

Not to mention, you never answered my question for "what exactly are you trying to accomplish with this information?" That could help us help you, man.

For example, if you're trying to match up the '96 ECU to the RB, you're gonna have a bad time. An OBDI ECU would work better for an OBDI engine. If you're just trying to match up the year, then there's no point. If you already have a '96 ECU, get a '90-'95 ECU. You're gonna end up with some frankensteined crap.

Please, share more info with us so we can help you better.

Please excuse my excessive posting, I hope you understand my impatience. I havent posted my full dilemma yet because I wanted to wait till I was further along in the process. I live in Sacramento, California and a while back I purchased an 96 R33 GTR from USS in japan. As I'm sure you know I dont have the car here in California, its in storage in Vaughan, ON. The car is almost up to US spec and I have been approved by Colman Sachs to have an RI/ICI called US Specs to confirm that it meets all DOT and EPA standards. The only thing that still needs to be done is the airbags and OBDII. The airbags are being fabricated but the OBDII is still up in the air. Dont think that I got ahead of myself by buying a 96 either, I had US Specs attempt to petition a 95 but the petition was denied. When you say "frankenstein crap" you completely right. This is going to be the most complicated thing that I have ever attempted and will not in any sense be a normal build. I have avoided, stepped around, and accomplished every problem yet and am in site of my goal. So if your just going to tell me how I shouldn't have even tried please please please just leave it here so I can just figure this out on my own. If not I would love any help you could give me. Thanks

All right, that gives us a little more insight. Thanks for the response. If you can wait, this weekend we should have the true '96 manual online. All the sensors should be in there.
