1996 transmission in 1995

Was hoping that someone would know if a 1996 transmission would work in a 1995 Q. The reason I ask is that I have a brand new 1996 factory transmission that I would like to install. Would I need to change the TCU? I guess the other option would be to strip it for parts and use them on rebuilding the 1995.

94.95.96 transmission are the same unit! No need to change tcu.

Bought it on Ebay awhile back for around $600 plus shipping to Denver. Doesn't have a warranty however.
