1996 Q45t - Can I Add Keyless Entry Easily?

The subject is the question, namely, does the 1996 Q45t come with keyless entry standard? Is adding it as simple as getting a new FOB and programming it? Or do I need to add a module or something on?

All you'll need is the remote fob. The remote control unit should still be mounted under the rear parcel deck. See page EL-376 of the FSM.

The fob can be gotten new from the stealership for over $200, OEM/used on ebay for $20-$50 (a crapshoot), or aftermarket/new on ebay. Mine were 2/$29 and they perform all the same functions except rolling the front windows down when you hold down the door unlock button. My fobs didn't come with programming instructions but they're available at Q45.org.
