I'm having problems with these codes. I changed the EGR valve, but still getting a code 32 (EGR Function). What should I look for? Another problem is code 77 (Rear Heated Oxygen Sensor). Where is that located? Last problem is code 78. I don't know what code 78 is.......do you? I just changed the Knock sensors two day ago.. Trying to clear all the alarms(codes).. Help me out guys!!!!!!!!

Moved the thread to the Infiniti online mechanic...

Have you cleaned the EGR passage? IF its completely blocked then youll still throw a code because the EGR temp sensor is getting no EGR through it..... Most times the valve is fine, clean things up...

77 and 78 are for the rear o2 sensors. they are located just behind the cats.

Read EC. Codes start at EC-296.

Unfortunately our trained gerbiles with miners lights are too large to fit in the passage from EGR valve up and into plenum.............small cylindrical wire brush, we use a home made mini rotor rooter........out of flex cable and a drill........mini pick axes and jack hammers [sometimes]........Dremel tool with flex drive.

Same situation with every engine that has used EGR since 1970's.

I have been searching high and low for that cable with the chuck on the end.
