No center cap with a "gold" emblem was ever offered by the factory- the logo is black......any gold was added aftermarket by dealers looking to pad their profits......."gold" packages, wood dash trim, aftermarket wheels, and other packages were common for dealers to add to the new 90-96Q sitting in inventory, inflating sticker prices by thousands for mostly worthless cosmetic alterations.....and buyers were stuck with this junk because it was added as soon as cars were unloaded from the trucks....forced price inflation.....even if you "negotiated" the price of this fluff down, you still ended up paying way more than the junk cost the dealers.......Most Honda dealers still practice this method of inflated profits.....wheel locks, mud flaps, pinstripes, door edge guards, moldings and junk all added as soon as car hits their lots and extremely inflated sticker price for this crap forced on buyers
