1996 pathfinder won't start (not dead battery)

hey all,

my 96 pathfinder won't start anymore. it just got really cold outside today and i went outside to warm it up, it started right up and i left it on for 15 minutes. When i came back outside i realize the car had shut off. i tried to start it back up and the starter cranks strong but the engine just won't start. any ideas?

how long have you let it crank for after it did shutoff? i remember with my old engine on pretty cold mornings i would start it and it would hesistate then if i didnt give it some gas it would shutoff then it would take a good 10-15 seconds of cranking before it started up again.

The 2nd post is actually recommended -- I can't remember where I read this. . maybe my owner's manual? But somewhere credible, I had read that you may have to give it a little fuel when cranking

I just got it last oct. . .haha9900 with 57100 miles

I do have a 97 240sx for sale though. . haha. . I'll post that later though.

i have the distributor off my old engine if you want it. it works just fine. its yours for $15 +ship lemme know if you havent gotten another one yet.
