Car: 1996 Nissan XE pickup with automatic transmission

I am thinking about purchasing another 1996 Nissan truck most XEs have manual transmissions. This 1996 truck has an automatic transmission should I be concerned?

I would be really concerned if the transmission failed. Beyond that given the age of the truck it’s like anything you purchase used. Make sure the fluid is clean & not burnt, check for leaks especially the front pump seal. The transmission are readily available. R&R cost might be a consideration. If the truck is just a grocery getter I wouldn’t make this a issue
