This is a very sad day for me, I must sell me GT-R...It is a 1996 Nissan Skyline GT-R LM Edition. It is Champion Blue and only has 26k miles on it. This is the 2nd most rare Skyline produced. 2nd only to the 400r. It is being sold for only $100,000. For more info, check out: http://www.cardomain.com/id/96gtrlm or email [email protected]

I thought LM was RWD and a very wide body , like the wise bodykit for example. In fact Lemans does not allow AWD!that cant be a Gt-r LM.

Do some more research before you make a misinformed post. The car that actually ran in the Lemans was a RWD. This is the LM Edition which they only produced 98 to commemerate the GT-R running in the Lemans.

A limited edition called "LM-Limited" was released on 21st May 1996 as the anniversary model of Le Mans 24 Hours Race entry. The main equipment feature an exclusive body colour "Champion Blue (#BT2)", front bumper with air duct, carbon fibre rear spoiler, and an exclusive sticker on the C pillars

i was thinking of the LM that only 1 was only produced.

i also tried to look up others that have/own LM badging, cant come up with anything.

Justin, you might want to try selling this in our buy/sell/trade forum. You may possibly have better luck. Also, if it's not listed yet in the Dupont Registry, you may want to do that as well. I'm sure you know this, but trying to sell a $100k car is hard to do in forums. Although, if I had a $100k to spare, I'd be interested I know you've been posting it around though, I saw you post it on the skylinegtr mailing list.

Hi, got a silly question for ya . Wouldn't all the modifications mentioned above ruin the value of the car? I was told that cars such as these are best kept standard..most probably I'm wrong though

Yes and no, This particular will always have mods, it's the nature of the car.

I was considering the Dupont Registry as I'm sure it would probably fit better into what they sell there. Just havn't gotten aroung to calling to find out how much it costs yet.

For 100 grand, couldn't you just get the rarest Skyline ever? I'm sure I read you could get the 400R for around that much, but then again, I guess there'd be no way to get it out of Japan and in to my garage.

Dupont registry is a great place for high end car selling. Right there along Ferrari's, Porche's etc...

$100,000 is not a bad price when you think about it. from motorex:1996 skyline: $51,000conversion: $25,000that's already $76,000 WITHOUT shipping.plus his is an LM edition, which is pretty rare. not to mention he has a r34 engine in there. so $100,000 is a really good price for something that's already in the states.

Actually, for $51k, you are getting an already-legalized R33.

The $25k Motorex charges for conversion is only if you buy the car from another source.

Huh? No. They *are* right. They have already been converted though. According to their website, an R33 GTR goes for $46500. That's out the door, already converted.

If you already have an R33 and want it legalized, *then* it is $25000 (or $17000 for a 95).
