A few years ago I had problems which led to a replaced knock sensor. That did not fix my problem so I replaced my mass airflow sensor(EXPENSIVE) that fixed it. Now on to my problem. It is idling fine and when not in gear I can rev and hold rpms as normal. Now when I start it and drive it cold there seems to be no problem. When it gets warm it starts missing only when driving down the road and it starts at 2000rpms and will not go over that and it is worse when going up hill. Now I can let off the gas and drive it at 1500rpms and its managable. 1 month ago I cut off the cadalitic converter and put the oxy sensor in the pipe and a new muffler. I don't think its the problem because its been a month but I do not know. I will soon clean the mass airflow sensor and reinstall to see if that helps. I will soon take it to the local advance auto to put it on the cheap computer they have which may not help me. I would greatly appreciate any help with my current situation and thank you for taking the time to reasd my post.

If the car will not go over 2000rpms, it's gone into safe mode due to a bad MAF or wiring. Check the wiring at the MAF connector to insure there are no problems there, and clean the MAF with a dedicated MAF cleaner or electrical contact cleaner.

I cleaned it and it didn't help. I will try unplugging it maybe and drive it unplugged and take the battery cable off and reset the computer tommorrow. I am convinced thats what is wrong with it but I am really concerned why it went out twice in 3 years.

I replaced the mass air sensor and had the codes run, I hope I can get some more help codes are

the car seems to be missing while driving down the road but not in neutral. this does not happen when the engine is cold. I have replaced the mass airflow sensor yesterday. if its any importance i cut the rear cat converter off and put the sensor in the pipe which i did 2 months before the problem arrose. I ran codes at advance which are as follows. p0100 p0325 p0110
