I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima I know the gas odor in the cabin is pretty common. I know about the injector lines and the and the overall monitoring of the rail hoses and the usual suspects. I had a line repaired recently and the lines were gone over by the mechanic. It was good for a while a couple months. Today after running the car but not while driving I returned to the car and smelled fuel. My daughter smelled it earlier as well. I drove the car smelled nothing kept it running checked the usual suspects everything looks ok. No smell or visable leaks. I got out of the car went inside two minutes and opened the door and smelled gas. I did'nt put gas in the last few days the only thing I did was put in fuel injector cleaner about two days ago any help is appreciated.
