1996 Maxima engine and 2000 Maxima ECU, Do I need NATS parts?

I have a 1996 Maxima engine with auto harness.

I'm planning to get a manual ECU. Will they work together?

There's a 2000 model manual ECU being offered. Do they need NATS system to start?

Yes you need the NATS to start it, its just a little signal amplifyer that tells the ECU that the key that belongs with the car is in the car.

You can bypass this with older ECU's that has been re flashed and reprogrammed
