My car was converted from an automatic to a 5spd and before the swap, the cruise control was working fine. Now, when I turn the main switch (by the steering wheel), the green light indicating operation doesn't come on. It's been suggested that I swap a non-essential relay (e.g. rear window defroster) w/ one of the two relays (hold by the battery and clutch switch by P/S reservoir) and see what happens. What else should I try?

did you add a clutch switch when you did the swap? For starting the car. If you just jumped the park neutral switch its not gonna work.

I didn't run wires to the clutch switch...just linked/bypassed the p/n switch. Does it matter which wire runs to the connections on the switch or do I just need to make a circuit? Also, when I depress the main switch indicator, it doesn't "spring" back to it's normal position...think that has anything to do with my troubles as well?

Ran two wires from the P/N switch to the switch on the back of the clutch pedal and the cruise now works. I think the green bulb is burnt out though as it doesn't come on when engaged (green "CRUISE" indicator on the dash turns on though). Thanks!!
